In 1997 I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in social sciences and secondary education, from the University of Minnesota-Morris, and an M.A. from Saint Mary’s University in 2005.

Prior to teaching at DC, I drove a sales route for Viking Coca-Cola in Hutchinson and St. Cloud, and then worked for a furniture warehouse and delivery service in Buffalo. I also worked for a mortgage bank in Minnetonka as a loan analyst in 1998 and 1999 before I was hired to teach social studies and driver education at DC.

I have always enjoyed competitive sports, I played football, basketball, baseball and ran track during high school and college. I have coached football, basketball and baseball, and I presently, coach football, referee basketball games and umpire baseball games.
