Text Box: DC VOCAL MUSIC NEWS -DC vocal and instrumental music students will be performing at the Lions Club Pork Chop Dinner held on April 23 at Cokato Elementary. Three DC students — Alex Hauck, Jordann Hoernemann, and Colee Jennissen — will be participating in the 2010 MN State FFA Honor Choir. The choir will perform at the State Convention, held April 25-27 -Caroline Duncan, Adrienne Haataja, and Jon Thorson attended the Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College in Decorah, IA January 10 & 11. The select festival choir was comprised of 1,400 high school choristers from across the Midwest - Festival Choir The DC Octet performed throughout the community during the winter holiday season. The group is currently looking for performance opportunities from May 10-21. If you would like the Octet to perform at your group’s function, please contact Ryan Luhrs. (info below)
