HEALTHY STUDENTS ARE BETTER LEARNERS!

 

The Health Services Program is staffed by a Licensed School Nurse and three Health Assistants who are certified in CPR and First Aid.  As a team, we work together to meet the health needs of our students and promote wellness.  The team has a unique understanding of students’ physical, social and emotional health needs and how wellness has an impact on learning.

Along with the day to day health needs of our students, we provide annual Hearing and Vision screening for grades K-3, 5, 7, 10 and for any students who are referred to us by a parent, teacher or the student themselves.   Scoliosis screening is also done for girls in grades 5 and 6.  Referrals and follow up will be provided as needed.
