Media Center Mission and Programs

Programs

· Weekly check-out classes with each class section that model effective and

       enthusiastic use of books as sources of pleasure and information.      

· Media skills classes, developmentally appropriate to each grade level, that teach

      students to access, critique, and effectively apply information.

· Collaboration with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate the

       media program into the curriculum to promote students' highest achievements. 

· Access to a full range of information through the vehicle of technology in the form

      of computer-based learning programs, electronic networks and data bases, and 

               future resource sharing systems.
