ECFE Classes for 2011-12
ECFE class registration deadline for Session 1 is Thursday, September 15 and for Session 2 the deadline is Thursday, January 5. There will be a lottery drawn, the following day if needed for those classes that have more registrants than spots available.
THURSDAY INFANTS (Ages Birth-12 mos)
These are non-separating classes for infants and one year olds. Parents and children stay together for an enjoyable time of play and parent discussion.
Babies grow and change so fast as they become their own little person. Meet other parents and babies and enjoy fun activities with your baby. We will explore infant development as well as the importance of the first year. We will share ideas and activities to provide the beginning of a solid foundation for your baby. There will be no Infant Class during session 2.

THURSDAY TODDLERS (Ages 1-2)
This is a non-separating class. Parents and children stay together for an enjoyable time of play and parent discussion.
Your busy toddler is suddenly everywhere and into everything! Parents will have the opportunity to discuss this growing independence and all the other changes that take place at this age. Class time includes a chance to discuss life with a toddler with other parents as the children play with the Early Childhood staff.

TUESDAY Little Charchers (Ages 1.5-5)
This is a separating class for children ages 1.5-2.5 year of age and their parents.
Come and enjoy a Tuesday morning with your young "little charger" and find out all about this wonderful stage. This is a separating class where you will enjoy activities with your child followed by discussion of the joys and challenges of this age - Go Chargers!

MONDAY LUNCH BUNCH (Ages 2.5-5) - Note: New Time!
This is a separating class for children two and one-half to five year old and their parents.
This longer class has been a favorite for many families. Parents will enjoy the hour they spend with their child and the hour that they will spend talking about the issues of parenting. It gives parents a chance to discuss more in depth about certain parenting topics as well as to dig deeper into child development at this age. Due to the fact that this class falls over the lunch hour, please bring a bag lunch for you and your child to eat during separation time. Come and join the fun in Lunch Bunch!

This is a separating class for children birth to five years olds and their parents.
Enjoy an evening of fun with your child(ren), as you meet new friends. The learning environment is set up to enjoy all stages of a young child’s development. Parents will enjoy talk time discussion topics that explore many aspects of parenting children. Come and enjoy the evening!
