D-C Early Childhood Family Education--Advisory Council
"Serving the communities of Dassel and Cokato for over 30 years."
Purpose:
The purpose of this Council shall be to insure the Early Childhood Programs provide support to parents in their efforts in raising children, offer child development information and alternative parenting techniques, help relay effective communication between parents and their children, supplement the discovery and learning experiences of children and promote positive parental attitudes through their children's school years.
Membership:
Any person is eligible for membership to the Advisory Council, however, the Council will be made up of Early Childhood Family Education/Learning Readiness (preschool) parent-users and other interested residents of District 466. A maximum of 20 members will make up the Council.
A member is eligible for a once yearly $10.00 discount for classes during their service on the Council. They will also get preferential placement in one early childhood class of their choice each session.

Fundraising:
The Early Childhood Advisory Council works hard each year to raise money to help cover the cost of ECFE and Preschool class tuition for families with financial difficulties. One of the biggest fundraisers each year that the Advisory Council hosts is the Dassel-Cokato Craft Fair. It occurs on the first Saturday in November.
